Tỷ phú Philippines chi 165 triệu USD mua 9 nhà máy điện mặt trời tại Việt Nam

ACEN, trong một hồ sơ giao dịch chứng khoán, cho biết công ty đã xúc tiến việc ký thỏa thuận hoàn tất thương vụ mua lại mảng kinh doanh năng lượng mặt trời của Super Energy Corp. Public (Thái Lan) tại Việt Nam.

Việc mua 49% cổ phần Solar NT giúp AC Energy sở hữu và vận hành 9 nhà máy năng lượng mặt trời có tổng công suất xấp xỉ 837MW ở khắp Việt Nam.

Việc mua lại sẽ được hoàn thành trong bốn giai đoạn, với giai đoạn đầu tiên bổ sung 141 MW công suất quy đổi.

Vào ngày 26/6/2023, Super Energy đã nhận được khoản thanh toán trị giá 51 triệu USD. Số tiền này đại diện cho một phần của tổng giá trị giao dịch khoảng 165 triệu USD của thương vụ mua lại này. Dự kiến các giai đoạn còn lại của giao dịch sẽ được hoàn tất trong năm nay.

Việc mua lại sẽ đưa danh mục đầu tư năng lượng tái tạo của ACEN tại Việt Nam-Lào lên 1.200 MW.

“Mối quan hệ hợp tác với Super Energy đánh dấu sự khởi đầu của sự hợp tác lâu dài vì chúng tôi sẽ tiếp tục tìm kiếm những cơ hội mới để phát triển danh mục đầu tư của mình và cùng nhau phát triển các dự án năng lượng tái tạo trên khắp ASEAN”, Giám đốc điều hành ACEN International, Patrice Clausse cho biết.

ACEN cho biết sức mạnh tổng hợp và kinh nghiệm sâu rộng trong phát triển năng lượng tái tạo sẽ mở ra những cơ hội mới để phát triển danh mục đầu tư của đối tác chiến lược, tạo việc làm và đẩy nhanh quá trình chuyển đổi năng lượng.

Super Energy, được thành lập tại Thái Lan vào năm 1994, đã mở rộng đầu tư vào ngành năng lượng xanh của Việt Nam vào năm 2017.

“Sức mạnh tổng hợp này sẽ nâng cao tiềm năng tăng trưởng của Super Energy và củng cố cơ cấu kinh doanh năng lượng tái tạo, điều này sẽ hỗ trợ quan hệ đối tác chiến lược của chúng tôi trong nhiều lĩnh vực, bao gồm vốn, nhân sự, công nghệ và mạng lưới để có thêm cơ hội đầu tư trong tương lai”, Chủ tịch kiêm Giám đốc điều hành Super Energy Jormsup Locaya nói.
