Sở Xây dựng cho biết, dự án nâng cấp, mở rộng Quốc lộ 13 được chia thành 2 dự án thành phần với lộ trình thực hiện cụ thể.
Dự án thành phần 1 bồi thường, hỗ trợ và tái định cư sẽ tổ chức thực hiện các thủ tục liên quan bồi thường, hỗ trợ, tái định cư và di dời hạ tầng kỹ thuật, hoàn thành trong quý 1/2026.
Dự án thành phần 2 nâng cấp, mở rộng Quốc lộ 13 đầu tư theo hợp đồng BOT, sẽ hoàn tất các thủ tục từ nay đến tháng 9/2026; lựa chọn nhà đầu tư và ký kết hợp đồng dự án PPP trong tháng 10/2026. Dự án sẽ được khởi công và triển khai xây dựng vào tháng 12/2026 và hoàn thành, đưa vào khai thác sử dụng trong năm 2028.
Theo Sở Xây dựng, việc ban hành kế hoạch nhằm đảm bảo sự phối hợp chặt chẽ giữa các sở, ngành, địa phương và đơn vị liên quan, phân định rõ trách nhiệm trong quá trình triển khai.
TP.HCM cũng ưu tiên bố trí nguồn vốn ngân sách, đồng thời kêu gọi, huy động nguồn lực xã hội để thực hiện dự án một cách hiệu quả, minh bạch và đúng quy định.
Quốc lộ 13, đoạn từ cầu Bình Triệu đến cầu Vĩnh Bình dài gần 6km, hiện có mặt đường rộng chỉ 19-27m. Là tuyến kết nối TP.HCM với các tỉnh Đông Nam Bộ và Tây Nguyên, trục đường này đang gánh lưu lượng lớn xe container, xe tải, xe khách và phương tiện cá nhân mỗi ngày.
Theo kế hoạch, đoạn tuyến Quốc lộ 13 này sẽ được mở rộng lên 60m với 10 làn xe. Trên tuyến sẽ xây dựng cầu cạn dài 3,2km, kéo dài từ nút giao Bình Triệu đến nút giao Bình Phước với quy mô 4 làn xe, tốc độ 80km/h. Phía dưới, đường song hành hai bên rộng 3 làn xe, tốc độ tối đa 60km/h, phục vụ xe hỗn hợp. Tại các nút giao quan trọng như cầu Bình Lợi và nút giao Bình Phước, dự án sẽ bổ sung hầm chui 2 chiều để tăng khả năng lưu thông. Tổng mức đầu tư dự án gần 21.000 tỷ đồng,
Khi hoàn thiện, Quốc lộ 13 sẽ trở thành trục giao thông huyết mạch liên vùng, kết nối xuyên suốt trung tâm TP.HCM với các khu công nghiệp trọng điểm, khu đô thị quy mô lớn của Bình Dương cũ và các tỉnh miền Đông Nam Bộ, Tây Nguyên.
