Theo đó, khu đất nghiên cứu quy hoạch có diện tích khoảng 19.197 m2, thuộc phường Hòa Khánh Nam, quận Liên Chiểu, thành phố Đà Nẵng.
Ranh giới cụ thể có phía Đông Nam giáp đường Nguyễn Sinh Sắc; Phía Tây Bắc giáp đường Trần Văn Kỷ; Phía Tây Nam giáp đường Lê Doãn Nhạ; Phía Tây Bắc giáp đường quy hoạch.
Quy hoạch vừa được phê duyệt định hướng xây mới tòa nhà chính Trung Tâm Thương Mại bao gồm các chức năng khu mua sắm, khu ẩm thực, khu đại siêu thị, khu vệ sinh, khu chứa rác, bể nước ngầm, bể nước phòng cháy chữa cháy, bể chứa nước thải, nhà để xe máy, hệ thống thoát nước quanh công trình, giao thông sân bãi, hệ thống cấp điện, chiếu sáng, cấp thoát nước và PCCC.
Việc đầu tư xây dựng Trung Tâm Thương Mại MM Mega Market Đà Nẵng nhằm đáp ứng nhu cầu kinh doanh của người dân địa phương, thúc đẩy phát triển hoạt động thương mại dịch vụ, góp phần phát triển kinh tế xã hội và an ninh quốc phòng trên địa bàn.

Ngày 18/5/2024, UBND thành phố Đà Nẵng phê duyệt đồ án Quy hoạch phân khu Ven vịnh Đà Nẵng tỷ lệ 1/2.000. Theo đó, vị trí khu đất nói trên thuộc khu vực khu dịch vụ.
